brooks by the use of dynamite. and on last Saturday afternoon the first work in this record was done. Durim the afternoon a group of men blasted holes at five dlffuenti locations on the. Little Pierre Jacques River in Hebron. The work is done by members of the association and the dynamite is supplied by the Provincial De-g partment oi Industry end Re- sources. -

'I'he.work is being supervised by a federal flsheria protection of- hoer and the actual blasting is done by a ma.n.qua.lll'led in explos- ives. Every prepaution is takeni to see that as few fish -as poaslbl are killed and on Saturday after- noon not one fish of any kind, large or small. became a casualty.

The idea of the holes is to pro- vide a place where the trout can lie in deep water. that if trout come up a stream and find only shallow water they go out again.
