Summer Employment

The Federal Government is now accepting application forms for all summer positions for students. In order to work for the government next summer you must fill out an application form. These positions include Canada Employment Centre for Students, Native Internship Program, Defence Research Assistant Program, Natural Resources Canada, Geological Survey of Canada, Justice Canada, Audit Trainee Program, Summer at Vimy France, Customs Coast Guard, Aboriginal Student Aboriginal Training. Apply now, some programs will be selected as early as November 22, 1995. Pick up FSSEP application at the Career Centre.

PEI Tourism department has a postion available as a Student Travel Counsellor. Salary is $6.50 per hour. Applications are available at the career centre. Deadline is December 15.

The National Research Council of Canada is currently seeking summer students for 1996. Applicants must be full- time students who are intending to return to full-time studies in the fall of 1996. Applicants must have at least a B+ aver- age. Students will be chosen from a variety of fields. Interested applicants should pick up an application booklet at the Career Centre. Deadline to apply is January 19, 1996.

The Pulp and Paper Research Institute of Canada in Quebec is looking for summer students in science and engi- neering who are graduating in 1997 or 1998.
