Santa claus then appeared and distributed gifts and candy to pupils and all other children pre- sent and after wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas. hurried on to fulfill his many duties. “The King” brought an enjoyable sf- ternoon to a close.

DOVER- CHBISTMAS CONCERT

The annual Christmas concert and tree was held in Dover school on Wednesday. Dec. 22 st B o'clock to an appreciative audience of Parents and friends.

The school was decorated with spruce boughs. trimmed with red and green. around windows and shaped like V’; on walls.

Mrs. George McKenzie capably presided. Mrs. Parlnlee McLure donated candy as a treat for the children. Mrs. McLui-e also added

pils.

Friends and relatives of Milli/ale and surrounding districts learned with deepest regret of the passing of one of its most highly respect.- ed citizens in person ol Kenneth A. Mclnnis at his home on Tues- dny. Dec. ‘I.

The deceased had been in fail- ing health for several months out was up and about as usual until a few days before his passing.

He was the son of the late Char- les and Ann ii/fcswaini Mclnnls of Hazelgrove wnerc he was born on July 8, 1872
