Feb. 17 -— (CP)— Ken Mosdeli drove home two goals tonight while his team was short- handed and led Montreal Canadiens to a 3-0 victory over Toronto Maple Leafs befofc a crowd of 11,227. The victory lifted Montreal back into undisputed possession of fourth laee, two points ahead of Chicago lack Hawks. '

It was Bill Durnan's fifthflshut- out of the season, his second against the Leafs.

The Leafs. in third place, hold only a one-point margin over Can- adiens.

The win broke a long dismal sreak for Canadians of only a tie in their last seven games. It also snapped Toronto's run of four vic- tories and two ties in their last half dozen games.

MONCTON. Feb. 17 — (CP) — Dartmouth Arrows served notice tonight they are still very much in the Maritime Senior Hockey Lea- gue playoffs by humlliatins Moncton Hawks 6-4.

Hawks returned to Moncton heavy favorites to take the series after winning the first two games on Dartmoutifs home ice, but a rousing rally saw Arrows nip least year's league champions B-l last night and go on to win again to- night.

Arrows can thank Kenny Dar- gsvel, their agile netminder, and Hawks erratic shooting for their double triumph.
