The address of the Kirk ses- sion was read by the clerk N.D. MacLean reviewing work done during the successful year.

Parents Tour New School

The West Kent Home and School met this week at the new school and 150 parents turn-

out to view the new facilities.

Robert Donnelly. chairman of the library committee. reported on letters sent out to graduates of the Old West Kent. with the hope of donations to the library fund. This has been well receiv~ ed by the graduates. it was re- ported.

Keith Pickard. architect of the new school, spoke briefly about the building. after which the parents were taken on a tour. then returned to the auditorium to have lunch.

Y’s Rehearse For Concert

The Weekly supper meeting of the Alpha Y's Men‘s Club. held last night in the YMCA. was cut short. to allow the mem- bers to participate in the final rehearsal for the annual Burn‘s Concert being held tonight at Prince of Wales College.

Apparently the wind caught. the snow and rolled it up much as a youngster rolls a snowball. or in so m e cases as though some were rolling the base of a snowman. it was explained.
