= Resurrection facts
. After reading “Resurrection Views Given by Mederater™ im the April 24th issue of the Guardian I am constrained to present a few facts which everyone ought to knew. .
The Bible is the only source of information on the resurrection. It gives us the divinely inspired account of these whe were “eyewitnesses”. We have no t reason te doubt these “‘witnesses cee of God”. They agree in all - impertant fact and in no way contradict one another. The minor details given by one, and omitted by-‘another are net contradictory, but complimentary facts, .as any honest in- vestigation will prove.
The Bodily Resurrection of Christ was prophesied in the Old Testament. (Psalms 16:10; Acts 2:22-32).
Christ foretold his bedily resurrection. 21). :
It was a body, not a spirit, that was missing from the
tomb. (Luke 24:3). It was in a bady that the Lord Jesus appeared to his disciples and said, ‘Behold my hands and my feet, that it is 1 myself: handle me and see: fora spirit hath not flesh and benes. as ve see me hate’’. ‘(Luke 24:39). Over 500 persons saw him at ene time. They’ did not all have an identical trance at the same time and place. (I Corinthians 15:6).
The Bodily resurrection: of Christ was absolutely neces- sary: in order for him to conquer death. Death claimed his ‘bed¥. but he came forth into life vicorious ever death. and i “hath _brouht life and immortality to light through the gospel”. (2 Timothy 1:10). tmmortality refers onty—to—the bedy, not the soul or spirit. -If Christ had not risen bedily we weuld not have a Saviour from the power. of sin and death. (1 Cor. 15:14-19).

Christ’s redemption of the sinner includes his body. (Romans %:18-23). Since we do not bury spirits how can they have a resurrection?
