One of the smartest track face- lifting operations we have ever seen was accomplished at the Charlottetown oval last Saturday. August 20th. In the morning a giant scariiler tore up the track to a depth of,trom two to six inch- es. Two six-man teams. one each from I-I.M. C. S. Queen Charlotte and H.M.S. Snipe. engaged in a friendly ride match at the Tea Hill range yesterday afternoon. The match was bred under iiir weather conditions. the local team topping out the visitors 073 to 033.

Team captains were Aoting Sub Lleut. W. R. Harris (Snipe) and CPO. S. G. Bowleo (Queen Char- lotte). Seven shots were fired at each of the 300 and 300 yard rang- es. and ten at the 500 yard range.

All hands considered the alter- noon well spent. and thoroughly enjoyable. The members of the visiting team expressed their opin- ion that the Tea Hill range is an ideal and well maintained range. a credit to Sgt. Art King. the Range Warden.
