The exhibition is-entitled “Ca- nadian Profile’, and it compris- es seventy-four superb photo- graphs from the co! ion of 400,000 negatives and prints in the Notman archives of McGill University. The exhibition pro- vides a fascinating record of a distinctive period in Canadan life, dating from 1896 into the early years of this century.

In the exhibition are scenes from every Canadian province, including a study of fishermen at Souris, P.E.I.

The exhibition will remain on view in the gallery throughout December.
