The bill provides that the Assoeiation shall have power to appoint an instructor

or instructois with power to exam'ne all factories and give such inetruction as may be deemed recessary ia order to promote the dairy induetry. In reply to a question asked by Mr. M. McKinnor, Premier Farquhareon said he hai stated at the dairymen’s meeting last winter that the Local Government would pay on- hird at least of the instructors salary. Inrgrment at Snarwoop. — The re mains of the late Mrs. Slackford were brought over in the Northaumberlaud yes- terday and bcught down to Sherwood cemetery this morning where the inter- meot took place, and where to hb her father and mother are buried. Mr. Slackford accompanied the remains, As chairman of the district, Rev. G. M. Campbell took charge of the funeral ser- vices and he was assisted by Rev. Mr, Opie, of York, secretary.
