Many things have been happening down at your UPEI Student Union during the past two months. CIMN, The Yearbook, and the X-Press are off and running - lots of great volunteers and programs. Dave Fitzpatrick has been in the parting mood and has brought in such acts as Mike O’Connor and Bob Lambert. See Sport is here for Halloween, and don’t forget about the New Year’s Eve bash at the Barn- A great way to bring in the new year with friends. Some of the big projects being worked on are lobby efforts to stop the CEC on Campus closures in May of 1992 and lobby efforts for Safe passage on Univer- sity Avenue. Ifanyone would like to sign the peti- tions or mor info on either of these issues, call or drop into the barn anytime.

For all you coffee addicts, the Student Union will be offering a Dunkin Donuts coffee shop in our main foyer. Watch for the grand opening within the next few weeks in November. Something to check out! The aids campaign was ahit! In early October, over 150 students listened to Mike MacDonald’s personal experience with A.I.D.S. He has since written and thanked everyone for letting him educate on the dis- ease.

If anyone would like to join a committee,, help out with campaigns, suggestions for campaigns, drop on down to the barn.
