ANGUS ORFORD: President of the Engineering Society.
Angus attained this position through acclamation, after the only other candidate met his untimely de— mise under the wheels of a tan Fairmont adorned 7 with Fire Department decals. r
Angus runs his administration with a real cone cern, and tries hard to be as popular as his bene- volent predecessor, wh08e likeness was sculptured ,in snow last winter by an admiring following. Not an easy task to do when the Society is broke and it is ’fip to him to find financing. This has caused him to enact strong policies such as a sex tax on the first year students, and the cancellation of the pOpular dollar bounty on every Artsie's'ear brought in. Many of the executive have been seen I on street corners with leftover Shinerama material attempting to collect whatever possible from passers— by. It should be noted that with Christmas coming,
a number of Santa Claus suits and Salvation Army uniforms have been discovered downstairs in Duffy, but this could be another community service performed by the socially-minded Engineers. \
On the whole, Angus strives to gain more recog— ‘ nition for UPEI Engineers, and has expanded the effort off campus as well. Slogans such as "Engineers Rule the World", "Arbeit Macht Frei", and "Artsies are Harmless, But They Shouldn't be Allowed to Breed", ' a have appeared at construction sites throughout town.
As for his personal goals, well, they come sec- ond to the Society, but it is said that secretly he wishes to be on "REAL PEOPLE" within the next two years. .
Angus is currently unattached and would make a great catch for any of you currently taking your

Nancy's quest for~power is just preparing herself

Her current hobbies 'include Spanish lessons and
teaching hunter safety on the F.N.
Her appointment as President of the Business Society, she'believes, was through "divine right" and in hoping to. provide a suitable heir, she was ‘ greatly disappointed to hear of Charles' marriage to Lady Di, but has not ruled out Immaculate Concep- tion yet. She rules the Society with a firm hand and has no problem comparing herself to past presidents as she has destroyed all record of them. Preferrinq to be known as the first of a dynasty, she is con— i ‘ templating changing her name to Ramses I.
Nancy, too, is presently unattached, but unless you can trace your ancestry to some notable blueblood of history, don't count on anything lasting. There are, however, positions open for young virile men as
' . secretaries, treasurers, and grape peelers, etc.
We need not wish Nancy any luck as we are sure she'll succeed with the full support of the Business“ Society behind her. . r
