260 students were successful in the Grade Eleven Examinat- ion results released yesterday by the Department of Education. Of these 63 or 24.23 per cent passed with first class standing of 75 per cent or over; 80 or 30.77 per cent passed with second class standing of 60 to 74 per cent, and 117 or 45 per cent passed with third class standing of 50 to 59‘ per cent.

All papers were set and read 'under the direction of the Atlan- tic Provinces Examining Board.

Graduation Exercises were held in June for Margaret Murray and Alberta Smith, this was in co- operation with the Explorh‘ Grad- uation. The group assisted by buy- ing corsages, photos and gradua- tion pins.

The exercises were part of a regular Sunday evening service with Rev. L.M. Murray in charge. The Senior Chair with Miss Matr— garet Walker, 3. C.G.I.T. member as organist, led in praise.

BUENOS AIRES (Reuters)— All 12 persons aboard an Argen- tine Air Force DC-3 were killed when it crashed, Tuesday night shortly after taking off from Tre- lew, southern Argentina.
