A Touching Service and Eloquent ‘Sermon.

The members of King William Orange Lodye atte nded Divine service in a body, on Sun day, July 8th, at Kingston. Rev. A. F. Brown preached a very loyal and patriotic sermon. After reading the last chapter of Revelations be calied on Brothe er McLean whoeang with much effect, “The Shepherd True.” The attention given was perfect, asdevery heart must nave been touched. The text was taken from the book of Jude,3rd verse, *‘Exkort- ing you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints.” He exhorted tke brethern to be faithful and firm in ell their efforts for the uplifting of mankind. He most hearti- ly endorsed the work done by the Loyal Orange Association and strongly advised all present to take Jesus our Elder Brother for their example. His sermon was listened to with breathless attention and was inter- spersed with several anecdotes from the American war giving great encouragement for ekristians to be always on the attack.
