While the Dablin mail train waa nearing Castlereagh, on the 3rd inst , a passenger named Gaven suddenly drew a knife and commenced slashing at those about him, at the same time yelling at the top of his voice. The car was loaded with passenrers and all were thrown intoa panic. Gaven badiy wounded five fellow-passengers and only desisted from his bloody work when both blades of his knife were brvken and the weapon harml-ss.
