Journalist needed

The Atlantic region of Canadian University Press is looking for an experienced ~journa1ist, to function as a bureau chief for the upco— ming publishing year.

' The speCific dates would be from the third week in September to the end of Marchi This is a full time position. The candidate must be willing to relocate in Halifax. ,

Duties of the bureau chief will include some news and feature writing, and to act as a stationary fieldworker, resource per- son for the papers in the four provinces.

The candidate should be able to type 40 to 50 WPM, or be willing to take a to— uch typing course at the expense of the bureau. He or She should also be able to, or willing to learn how to Operate a telex, for the purpose of circulating news within the region and forwarding stories to the main office of C.U.P., loc— ated in Ottawa. Knowledge of French is not mandatory, but would be an asset.
