Plans are underway at present to have the highly rated Prince Edward Island Highlanders hockey team play at the Forum on Fri- day night of this week if these plans materialize hockey fans in ihls city will be in for a real treat as the Intermediate Abbies stack up against a team which has been ilndeteatcd so for this season in the Fortress League-one of the fastest in Halifax.

The proposed game is the result of Manager C. F. Archer's trip to the mainland last week. Returning home Friday night, the genial manager of the Forum. expressed himself as being quite pleased with what he had seen in our neigh- [boring province of Nova scotia. He ‘was high in his praise of the Highlanders team which he claims is one of Ihe best of the 16 com- peting in lhc four leagues which operate in the Novn Scotia capital.

Between the uprights will be one of the best goaies ever to don pads 1n this province-Casey of Summer- side. He is abl supported by a rugged trio of efencemeil-"Wes" Storey of Charlottetown Ranger fame; Rankine of Summerside and Keefe of Charlottetown. The for- ward line is even more formidable than a first glance would suggest. Patrolling the left wing is a player who always gave Charlottetown hockeyfans a thrill.
