Now for a resume of the week-S activities. Inst, Wednesday W35 gnome;- day of athletic activities. A good deal of time was spent at the beach in preparation for the Red Cross swimming tests. Wed- nggday night we all gathered in the recreation room for a sins- mng. John MacDonald and Dickie Deighan favored us with 801°5- The sing song was followed by a treat of chocolate bars-provided by the camp supervisor. Mr. uKeefe.

Thursday was the bi: dfly- The boys were all excited over the ap- proaching visit of Mrs. Cudmvrfi of Charlottetown. who was sched- uled to hold the Reel Cross swim- ming tests. We feel that we need give no more than the statistics in connection with this. Of twenty- two boys who tried the test. twenty-one were successful. Fol- lowing is the list of successful can- didates:

He is survived by his lorrotwiag widow. and one son Lorne; also two brothers, and tnhiree Sisters, Henry. Kingston. Ontario; and William of thll city; Mrs. Angus Benton. Wofld Islands, P. E .I.; Mrs. William Hil- Ller and Mrs, Mary Csrdenu, City. ‘Bwo younger some, Maurice and Louis made the supreme sacrifice in World Wnr II. Following this great loss Mr. Castor-it's usual robust health began to show signs offatiing.

The largely attended funeral wee held 0n Tuesday, June 17th, at 2.00 P. M. from his late residence to St. Paul's Church. Services at the house and grave were conducted by pastor Rev. J. T. Ibbott. Inter- ment in the People's Cemetery.

The pail bearers were: Messrs. George Bell, Peter Connolly. Steph- en home, George Moore, John Fesvyour and Al McNeiil. .

Many floral tributes and messag- es of sympathy were received tes- tifying to the esteem in which the deceased was held.

When one considers that these boys took a fourteen day course in seven days their feat is deserv- in; of double congratulations. The some double set of congratulations is. clue to both instructors. Philip Murphy and Waiter sonier. and to Father Butler, who took so much

sat in on a movie in the recrea-

tion room of the main hut. Friday was a regular vamp ' day. Friday night we had a camp y fire. The camp fire was follflweil by movies in the recreation room, the films being provided by Mr. Henry Wedge. Mr Earl Hickey and ‘ Rev. H, Wight arrived from Sum- merside with a treat of ice cream.
