Asked questions about the Sauve view, Mr. Hays said only’ the wheat board was set up for the prairie farmer and sells his grain as well as it could. The wheat board, he said. has done an excellent grain merchandis- ing job.

There are a number of argu- ments against the existing west- to-east movement system, Mr. Hays said. For one, Eastern Canada growers claim they are competing against western feed grain.
