Under her leadership the popular Saint Cecilia Club was formed and their appearance was always a source of pleasure to lovers of music. Miss Murphy was a daughter of John Murphy who with a sister, Annie, wife of Dr. C.E. Kennedy, and a brother William, are left tomonrn the loss- of a loving daughter and kind sister.
