l’t'iiicetoWn,” and also of an Act made and passed in the Twenty- seventh year of the saute reign, intituled. " An Act to consolidate and amend the several Laws imposing an Assessment on all Lands in this Colony and lor the encouragement of l‘idncatmn.”

I do hereby publicly notin the owners or occupiers of Lands in this Island, for which the annual Asacssment or Assessments charged thereon by the said recited Acts, or some one or more of them, of nine shillings and two pence lawful money of this Island for every hundred acres of Wilderness or unimproved Lands, Contained in the several Townships and the Islands belonging thereto; and the sum ofuix shillings and eight pence oflike moncylor every hundred acres of cultivated or improved Lands in the said several 'l'ownshtps and Islands as aloresaid; and at the rate of nine shillings and two pe‘me of like money per hundred acres for wilderness or unimproved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the Town and Royalty ol' Priiicetmvn; and

at the rate ol'nix shillings and eight pence oi like money per hundred.

acres for cultivated or improved Town Lots and Pasture Lots in the Town and Royalty of Princetown as atoresaid; and the sum of four shillings of like money lor each and every uncultivated or unimproved Town Lot, Common Lot and \Vatcr Lot, grant- ed in the Town and Common ol' Charlottctmvn; and the sum of six shillings of like money for each and every uncultivated or unimproved Pasture Lot in the Royalty ot' Charlottetown; and the sum of four shillings of like money for each and eVery cultivated or improved Pasture Lot in the Royalty; and the sum of two shillings and six pence of like money for each and every cultivated or improved 'l‘own Lot and \Vater Lot in the said Town; and the sum of two shillings of like money [in each aml every cultivated or im- prOVed Common Lot as aforesaid; and the sum of two shillings and eight pence ol like mone for each and every uncultivated or unim- proved 'l'own Lot and \ ater Lot in the Town of Georgetown; and the sum of one shilling and four pence of like money for each and every cultivated and improved 'l'own Lot and \Vater Lot in the last

mentioned Town; and the sum of three shillings and four pence of

like money tor each and eVery uncultivated or unimproved Pasture Lot in the Royalty of Georgetown: and the sum of two shillings ol like money for each and every cultivated or improved Pasture Lot in the last mentioned Royalty; and the sum of two pence of like money for each and every acre of cultivated or improved Lands in the Royalty of Georgetown, called Reserved Lands; and the stun ofthrcc pence 0 like moneyfor each and every acre of such last mentioned Lands as may be deemed uncultivated or unimproved Lands; and so in proportion [or a less quantity'—-ia payable; that unless the Assessment or Assessments for the current year, imposed by the said recited Acts, or sortie one or more of them, be paid into my hands, or the hands of any of my Deputies, (as required by law,) on or beliire the Sixth (lay of DECEMBER next, 1 shall proceed against all such Lands as shall then he in artcar lornon-pay-

IS Excellency the Lieutenant Governor in Council was this

day pleased to fix and determine the rate at which the

amount of the Invoice of Dutiable Goods imported into this Is-

lard from the United States of America, shall, in estimating the

duties payable thereon, be reduced into current money of the Island, as follows:—

In all cases where such Invoices shall be made out in Dollars and Cents o." the paper currency of the United States, the amount of such Invoice shall be reduced into current money of this Island by allowing for each Dollar the sum of Form SniLLINGS,and in the like proportion for any fraction of a.
