The chicory, green, dried and manufag- tured, John IF. Rowe, Charlottetown, exhi- bitor, shows that any quantity of that ex- cellent article ean be grown and manufac- tured successfully in that Province. The gentiemen’s suits from the establishments of Mr. Charles Robertson, Charlottetown, and Mr. John McKenzie, of Summerside, merchant tailors, are fit apparel for any man, however high his position. Those suits are got up in the latest styles, and are of excellent material and all home pro- ductien.
The malt from Brighton Brewery is an indication of the excellent quality of the ale which is manufactured in that brewery, made from the barley raised in the Pro- vince, a sample of which is also at the ex- iibition.
Tl.e canned fish, in lobsters and mackerel is a fair representation of the superior quality of those preserved fish. branch of industry has increased very rapid- ly on the Island within the past four years, and those engaged in it find a ready sale for their exports in the markets of London aud other cities of England, and also in France and Germany.
