To individuals who were in- volved with Peer Helping last year on campus, or students who were Peer Helpers in high school, we are start- ing our group again. Meetings will be held in Robertson Library every Friday from 1:30-3:00 pm (this semester). The next meeting is October 27, 1995 at 1:30. The Canadian Red Cross will be offering a Babysitter’s Course on November 18 and 25 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. This course will take place at the Red Cross office at 62 Prince Street. This is an interactive course that will teach you how to care for infants, toddlers,preschoolers and school aged children. At the end of

the course the student will know how -

to care for children safely and have fun doing it. This will also under- stand the rights and responsibilities as a babysitter. An important portion of the course is to teach the students to prevent injuries and promote safety for children. Has your favourite babysitter taken the course?
