IIEREAS a Commission has been issued. directed to us, under and by virtue of an Act passed in tl:c four- teenth year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Vic- toria. intituled “ An Act to regulate the laying out and altering of Highways,” and of the Act in amendment there- of, whereby we are commanded to estimate the damage or advantage that may accrue to those persons who are inter— rested in the Land through which a new road is intended to pass. on the North side of Michael Magher’s land, to- Wards Big Miminigasb, 'I‘oWnship No. 2.

Now we do hereby give Public Notice to all persons con- cerned, that we will commence the execution of the said Commission. by attending at the Farm of Michael Magber, on MONDAY, the 20th day of JUNE next, at the hour of ten o'clock, lorenoon. in order to complete the said Com- mission according to Law.

EALED TENDERS will be received by the Subscriber at the General Post Otlice. in Charlottetown,until THURSDAY the 22d inst., at noon, from persons willing to contract for the conveyance of the MAILS, Smu-wnrcnw for FOUR YEARS between SAINT ELEANOR’S and ,L’ EDEQUE, via SUMMERSlnE and Noirru BEHIIQUE. The Mails to be conveyed in summer by allorse and Waggon, and during Winter by a Horse and bleign; to leave St. Eleanor's on Tunsnav and Funny mornings, and to return to St. Eleanor’s the afternoon of same days.
