OTTAWA (CP) — The Nov. 8 election is quite different from the 1962 1nd 1963 voter, Finance Minister Gordon said Tuesday.
Talking over old elections at the Liberals’ weekly press brief- eampaign chairman, 1963 vote was really the second half of the 1962 election.
In 1962 the huge Conservative majority was reduced, leaving the Diefenbaker government in & minority position in Parlia- ment.
Mr Gordon said that Mr. Diefenbaker was really beaten in 1962 “by and large.” The only question in the 1963 vote was whether the Liberals would get a majority. Mr. Gordon said he did no’ expect one, and they didn’t.

This election (is different, he said, as the Liberals seek .a majority to continue their pro- gram. “I think we'll get it,"’ he said.
