League when they turned back the Red Indian RQ-‘yals 9 to ‘Z in a fast. wide-open encounter that nearly all the way produced the best brand of hockey the Junior Iieag- uers have displayed this season. Lightning fast and dotted with clever playing the Rangers, ilashin; sensational form at times, once threatened to make the game a run away as they built up a 6-1 lead in the first half of the game. There was apparently no holding the Prowse-Williams crew as they dom- inated the play. But suddenly. with only three minutes (o go in the second period, Royals began to show the form they exhibited in their opening game, Before the session had finished they came through with three goals to make the score 6-4 and put an entirely different complexion to the game. Imbued with new llic Royals had a fcmrporoary halt called to their attacks as the Rangers scored early in the final sesson. But the los- ers were far from thicugh. Fight- ing back grimly at the ten minute mark they had drawn to within one goal o.‘ their opponents and at this stage they were every bit as good as Rangers. But they were still trailing and as they sent every man up in search of the equalizer the Rangers broke through for two more goals i0 salt the verdict away. al- though in the final seconds Royals did notch up their seventh counter.
