lights and 50’s retro look. The Jukebox has the standard burger-and-fries type of menu, but they also have a variety of sizes and types of burgers, not just the generic “mc burger”. My favourite is the old standby, the cheeseburger. It's big enough to satisfy and good enough to keep you wanting more... french fries, of course. The one thing this spot will never be accused of is being stingy with the amount of food you get, especially the gravy. A small gravy is usually enough for two orders of fries. If you don’t know what to get, every day they have a special which costs between $4 and $5 featuring a burger (like the }ukebox Burger, with everything in the kitchen that wasn’t moving on it),

have to wait long, unless you go during the lunch rush hour. The staff are a friendly lot, especially that red-head... Overall, | will give the Jukebox 4 out of five cookies.

Subway

| like Subway, if for no other reason than the fact that you can convince yourself that even though it is fast food, it is good for you. At least, that is what the advertising says. It’s all fresh veggies on top of that pre-processed, msg’ed, indistinguishable meat, so it must be healthy, right? The thing | like about Subway is that there is a variety of subs at different prices, so when | only have a couple of dollars | can still get something filling. What | don’t like is the fact that: a) the line ups take so long and b) when they are in the slightest bit of a rush, | usually get a sub that is a big, mashed, mushy mess (Say that three times fast!). Other than that, I’m pretty happy. | usually get my subs to go, so the strange music mixes and glaring yellow seats in the restaurant don’t bother me. What | have noticed when | do eat in is that they don’t mind you taking your time, unlike some places where they take

yet? These area highlight of Subway. Chocolate chip cookies that are always yummy, and the chocolate is always soft... how do they do it? Subway gets 4/5 cookies. (Now you know why we do our ratings in cookies!)
