MONTAGUE — The June meet- ing of the Kings County Hospital Ladies Auxiliary was held at the summer home of Mrs. L. H. Poole, Monday evening, with 15 members and 10 visitors present: Mrs. Byron Stewart presided and the meeting opened with the Lord’s Prayer.

In the absence of the secret- ary, the minutes and accounts were read by Mrs. Archie Hume, who also presented the financial report. It was decided to pur- chase a onumber of window shad- es for the hospital. A committee comprising Mrs. Poole, Mrs. Hume .and Mrs. R.G. MacDon- ald, was appointed to attend to other business matters which were brought before the meet- ing. A very successful auction sale was in charge of Mrs. Rob- ert Machon and a substantial sum was realized. Mrs. Archie Hilchey was pianist during tne evening. Lunch was served by
