With only Olle doctor at St. Peter's it leaves the district pretty bare. Mt. Stewart, only eight miles sway has two doctors but they have too much ground to cover. The place for a young doctor right now would be Moreii, and no stono should be left unturned to get one.

Mrs. James F. MacDonald re- ceived c wire last week from her son Frank who resides in Halifax. asking her to come at once as nis wife was very ill. Mrs. MacDonald left the next morning early. ur- riving in Halifax in the evening only to find death had beaten ner by a few hours. Her son's young Wife had passed away in the hos- pital leaving three small children. One six months old.
