What's on at the Panther Lounge

Hopefully everyone has their tickets for Thursday, October 15, THE BIG PUB, with The Irish Descendants. Tickets (if there is any left!) will be available at the Barn. Tickets can be bought from the Student Union or any employee of the Lounge for three ($3) dollars advance or four ($4) dollars at the door.

Interested societies and clubs on campus should book their event night soon. The business society, the Vets, and the Biology Club are all planning pubs in the near future. It’s a great way for members of particular societies and clubs to get together outside of the classrooms and have a little fun. Just give us a call down at the Student Union (566-0530) and we'll be more than happy to do anything we can to get your group down at The Barn. It does not have to be a pub, if you just want to havea social type of evening for your group - we’ll be more than happy to strike you a deal!

-On Friday afternoon, October 16, we will be showing Terminator I and Terminator II (the most expensive film ever made). Come watch Arnold say ‘‘I’Il be back!”’

Just a reminder to everyone about Mondays and Tuesdays down at The Panther Lounge. On Mondays, we play two (2) past episodes of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE with the first

show starting at 9:15 pm. Tuesdays are GOLF NIGHT. What’s golf night??? Golf Night is brought to The Barn by United Distillers and is an electronic type golf game a la Price is Right! You get three chances to sink two balls and winners receive complimentary United Distillers products. We also give great prizes away like shirts, hats, shooter glasses, and even un umbrella!

Halloween is just around the corner. The Halloween Pub is one of the year’s highlights. Halloween falls on a Saturday BUT the Student Union pub will be on Thursday, October 29th. Although all who show up in costume on Saturday, the 31st, will receive Happy Hour prices and music will also be provided. Start getting your costumes ready because we’ ll have prizes for the best and most original, and the funniest costumes.

One last note, the semester’s end pub (we all know what that means!) has been scheduled for Friday, December 1 8th. Just thought we would tell everyone now so Mom and Dad don’t expect you home for Christmas until at least the
