The Trustees again point out that the Hospital is op- erated on a non-profit basis. That there is no annual cam- paign for maintainance. The salaries of those who serve you and the money for the necessary supplies needed for your care must come from your payments.

With the increasing cost of maintaining standard hos- pital services the trustees find it necessary to enforce the collection of all outstanding accounts. Individual notices have gone out and all persons affected are asked to ar- range settlement to avoid the embarrassment of legal pro- ceedings.

DEPOSITS

To avoid further accumulation of unpaid accounts the trustees find it necessary to insist on a satisfactory deposit as well as arrangements for any balance before hospit.aliza- tion. This system is in effect in practically all hospitals of a size comparable to the P. E. 1. Hospital
