Caxapran Exports.—The returns fur- nished by the collector of "the port of Montreal! show that' the exports of Canadian produce have fallen off dur- ing the month of January jaét past, as con.pared with the eame month last yesr. The total of the exports, the pro- duce of Canada, for the mouth just closed amounted to $1,225,317, as compared with $1,349,643 for January oj last year. Exports not the produce of Canada, amounted to $194.472 in January, 189), as against $184,755 for January, 1898.
