DONS FOR '79 -80

All students wishing to apply for a position as Dan for the year 1979-80 may do so by picking up an application form from the University Canada Manpower Centre, First Floor, Main Building.

1, (pen to all University of P.E.I. students who meet the following fl' fications: ‘ a) at least we year in residence;

b) preferably a Junior or Senior stucbnt (as designated by the Registrar's Office;

c) have a satisfactory academic standing;

d) poSsess a sound knowledge of the University, residences, program offerings and student

activities. 2. Salgy - $800.00 ($400.00 per semester - present— ly under revisim)

3. Terms of Appointment Dcns are appointed for the academic year, Septenber l to May 1 appromlmately. During this period they have the use of a private noon in the residence and receive a stipend. A jcb descriptim is available along with the appli— catim form at the Manpower Office.

Pat Campbell—Soph There should be more pubs through the week.The Barn should be open on Friday and Saturday nights.They should have something like a Disco

on the weekend.The pig should be on Friday night.The lounge should be open more often—— it's nice ti have a beer after-

class.

The restrictions should be lessened——more wet & dry events.The Barn,as a building, is a great place and has a good atmosphere.

There should be more entertainment like having Irish music in the afternoon. There should be more Friday pubs. '
