The sodality and alumnae of St. Joseph‘s Convent are hold- ing a tea this Sunday afternoon. Many guests are expected to a- tend the annual happy event. This year an added interesting feature is that the new organ is now in use and all who see and hear it are full or admiration for the very fine instrument which the sodality and alumnae have presented to the convent.

Mr. H3. Budgen of the Mari- time Electric will address the Prince Edward Island branch of the Canadian Association of Con- sumers at their fall meeting on Monday. Mr. Budgen’s topic will the “Electricity in the Home.” :Mrs. J.A. Lawson, eastern vice- President. will give a report. There will be a display of suit- able toys for children.
