CNF's Annual Symposium and Conference will be held from July ch to 6th at Carleton University in Ottawa. The conference theme is "The Tonic of Wilderness".

The summer is finally here (sort of!) and everyone has gone their separate ways. '

Gary and Ruth are off on a cross-continent bike tour - they plan to take the best part of a year! I would like to thank them for the super Job they have done on the newsletter over the past few months.

Sue Stephenson has volunteered to take over their duties, so please forward any bird sightings, articles, etc.-to Sue. .

Our next season of meetings will start Oct lst (Tuesday) - please keep an eye on the the newsletter for the place as we may well be on the move again!

I hope everyone has a relaxed summer, great growing weather for gardens and a warm fall to compensate for the wet spring!
