AT THE DRIVING PARK Minnie Captures the 2.25 Claes—| A Small Attendance. |

Yesterday afternoon the concluding heats of the 2.25 class were trotted. The atien- dance was small and the usual enthusiasm absent. About half past two the borses appeared and the racing began. Minnie was somewhat lame, and although she did not finish first in either heat, her , udmirable racing secured for ber firat place , in the race.

The Sixth Annual Provincial Conven- tion will be held (D. V.) in the Methodist Church at Summerside, on ‘tuesday and Wedensday. Oct. 3rd and 4th.

Pastors of Caurches, Superintendents of Sunday Schools, County and District Presidents, Officers and Executive of tse Proyiocial Association are Ex-oflicio Members of Convention. Each school may send on delegate, and ~ schools having a Membership over 100 may sendtwo.
