In the House of Commons the other day, on the item of $20,000 for providing cold storage, Hon. Mr. Fisher, Minister of Agri- culture, explained the nature of the scheme which the government had in view. It would cost, he said, about $15,000 to fit up a single steamer with cold storage accom- modations.
