—Y'S MEN'S MEETING -- The 12th birthday of the Summerside Y's Men's Club was celebrated at the annual meeting of the club. in the L. O. L. Hall on Thursday evening. Ross MacKenzie, vice- president and acting president was in the chair. W. A. Currie, first president of the club gave a talk in which he outlined the history of the clu-b. The first activity of the club after itiwas chartered in i937 was a collection o! used clothing for the Children's Aid Society. The sponsoring of the Tuberculosis Christmas Seal Cam- paign was also started that year and has been continued ever since. In i939 the first club radio auction was held and this has been a year- ly project since. In 1943 the club first took interest in Scouting and that year the club purchased a camp site at Fernwood. Housing Survey Meeting Success

Our grain production could be increased materlallywith s. lit- tle better care in the quality of seed used. There has apparently been quite a large reaction to using this recleaned feed grain for seed purposes. Its about time we realized that planting this stuff is only inviting trouble.
