Kineston, May 22.—The big ferry steamer Pierrepont has carried many a visitor to Wolfe Island recently to iaterview Mr. L. Yott, a farmer of that Island whose wonderful cure by Dodd’s kidney pills was recently published in these columna.

E it enacted by the City Council of the City of Charlottetown aa foliows:—

lst. The rate of assessment on Real Estate for general civic purposes, under said Statute, for Lbe year commencing the first day of January, A, D. 1893, and ending the 3lst day of D. cember, A. D. 189%, is hereby specified and fixed atthe rate of ONE PER CENT. on every dollar of the value of Real Kstate, as assessed by the Asses sors of the said City of Charlottetown in the General Assessment Kook and Valuation Holl of all Real Kstate and Personal Property liable to taxation in said City, and of all persons liable to pay Poll ‘lax therein, made and duly returned by them on the Seventh day of April, A. D. 189%,

2nd. The rate of assessment on Personal Pro- perty for such general civic purposes, for the year commencing the Ist day of January, A. D. 1893, and ending the 3st day of December, A.
