Hot or jcllied Consomms Curried Veal Casserole

Whipped Potatoes -

Chopped spinach

Plum Cream Tart Hot or Iced Coffee or Tea

Milk

Curried veal Casserole: Cut iv, lbs. boned shank or veal into bitc- sizcd pieces. Toss with a mixture of ii. tsp. salt. I tsp. monosodium glutamate. lyz, tsp. curry powder and 2 tbsp. flour.

Mclt U c. butter in a frying pan. And 11;, tbsp. chopped onion and slow-saute 1 min. Add the veal: mute until browned. Add 2 more tbsp. flour; stir in 2 c. soupstock.. or use 2 c. water and 2 bouillon cubes. Simmer 35-40 min.

Line a low 2-qt. baking dish with 3 c. whipped potato. Spoon in the veal. Edge with 2 c. additional potato. Brush with 1 egg yolk beaten with 1 tbsp. water. Brown under the broiler.

Plum Cream Tart: Bake a 9-in. pie crush shell. Fill 2-3 with half- cooled cream filling made with 1 pkg. dessert mix. flavored with grated orange rind. Chill.

Top with cold, thick. well-swcet- ened. stewed red plums. halved and pitted. and llieir Juice (which should be boiled down separately until thick). Cool, chill and serve.

The causes of diarrhea are many.

The Inner Need Behind um Deed If you discover your child in at theft, don't punish or humiliate him by dradlc measures. A child of school age rarely steals just to possess an article. Occasionally he keeps on stealing because he's learned that his wants are easily

He may be under pressure to contribute to A school cause and since he can't get the money from his parents. hsfstcals. It may be spite. stealing from some- body who has been abusing him. Find out. then. why the child has stolen. The majority of cases can then be handled by the par- cnt. The theft shouldn't be al- lowed to work out in any way to the child's advantage. Don't let him keep the article. Don't re- ward him for returning it. The article should be returned and If it cannot. make him pay for it out of his allowance. However. don't take away his entire allow- ance for a period of weeks or you may find you've driven him back to stealing. Above all, don't let him feel that he has lost your love and confidence.

Face such situations frankly and keep up a friendly relation- ship with the child. glf the prob- lem should persist. or if the child who has been stealing appears to have been emotionally upset for some time. then it's advisable to consult an expert at A child guid- ance or mental health clinic.
