There should be an investigation into this mat- ter and the responsibility for such blundering placed where it belongs. The railway authorities could only have acted with the sanction of_ the Transport ltliiiister. The Transport Minister had the benefit of consultation with Premier Campbell and other members of the provincial government. Did he ignore their suggestions, or did they fail properly to present the case as embodied the Maritime Trade Board resolution? The whole episode throws a revealing light 0n the seeming indifference of our Liberal politic- ians to matters of real concern and importance to our taxpayers.
