My boyfriend is driving me nuts, he exagger- ates everything. Last week he told his friends we had sex for an hour and three minutes- he forgot to mention that the clocks went back during our session. He over-reacts: I told him I thought his hair was too long, so he went out and shaved his head. If I make a joke about anything he takes it personally and gets all upset. What’s.a girl to do?

Dear Perplexed,

Sounds like you both have a problem, he needs to loosen up, and you may have to watch what you say. If you told him to jump off a bridge and you think he would do it, don’t even say it in jest. He needs to get a reality check, doesn’t he know that the shaved head look is out??

I can't live with these amoebas that I call -| roommates anymore! They don’t do the dishes, are always eating my food, and pawing over their ‘‘significant others’’ on the living room couch while I’m trying to go about my own business. And did I mention that one of them loves to play nintendo at all hours of the night on full volume? What can I do? Frustrated

Dear Frustrated,

Move back home and use the rent money you save to lease a (kinda) red Geo. Unless of course you are determined to have your own apartment. In that case kick out the deadbeat roomies, or you can find a new place... I have friends who need a roomie.

Ever heard of Kidz Pix (one of the programs available on our fine university system)? Fun on the computer is a great stress reliever. Then again, banging your head against the keyboard always works for me.

F is for fortune cookie

that sound tempting? (yes-drools Al) This week we decided to take our taste buds on a round-the-globe adventure, our destination: China Town. Ok, actually its really Charlottetown, but in relation to Chinatown in Vancouver it’s about the same size.

I have just decided that my current favour- ite Chinese food place is the Golden Wok restaurant. The portions are good- every time I eat there I have to take home a doggie bag, and if you know me, you know it takes a lot of food to fill me. The Golden Wok gets 4 cookies for their incredible soup and amazing portions (oh yeah, the food tastes great, too). My next fa- vourite place is Le Lai- my grandparents always take me there. They have great lunch specials, and if you want it delivered, con a few friends into ordering with you and delivery is free. I give Le Lai 3 1/2 cookies, ‘cause it’s gvod food and the service is fast. I have never eaten at the International Restaurant- a rumour, spread by one of the waitresses, claims that they re-use food (this was purportedly discovered when someone found a cigarette butt in their rice). My apologies to the International if this is not the case, but I hear new management has taken over, so quality may be much better now. Jennifer

My favourite in Ch’town is also the Golden Wok. I love their specials, when you just want the usual favourites. They also have a wide menu of other fun choices, if you are brave enough to try the foo’s and guy pan’s. You get lots of food and it’s not that expensive. Their delivery is fast and still hot when you get it. Besides, I just love the big round door in the dining room! I give them 4 cookies.

The King’s Palace down on Queen street gets full points for atmosphere and authenticity, but it is just too darn expensive for this student’s budget, unless you go to their all-you-can-eat buffet.

The only spot I would advise you to

steer clear of is the Noodle House. The food was not very good, service was SLOW, and we didn’t get very much for our dollar.

I never have enough money to order anything but the special when I go out for Chinese, and all of the places I have tried are good, sc there is no one restaurant that I have complaints about. Le Lai in West Royalty is my favorite. They have low prices and good meals. They also serve Canadian specials for those less adventurous in your party, and Vietnamese and Szechwan for the more adventurous. I also like the King’s Palace on Queen Street, although I have nag- ging doubts about mostly empty restaurants. | also find myself giggling behind my menu at the palm tree and dragon decor. The whole idea behind going out is to have a good time, though, so leave your decorating taste at home and enjoy a quick, hot afforadable lunch. I give both 4 fortune cookies out of 5.

RAZZY’S ROADHOUSE It’s not chinese food but......It’s definitly worth mentioning.

Last week my boyfriend took me out to Razzy’s RoadHouse for supper. It was great, so great in fact that when my friends and I took Friday morning off, I suggested Razzy’s for lunch. Everyone agreed and had a great time. Call me boring but I ordered the chicken fingers both times- I was stuffed and it only cost me $4.95 plus taxes. The group I was with on friday also all had the chicken fingers, and after we ate we all waddled out to the car. The waitresses are all really nice, so a big HI to all of them anda hello to Dave. Christa, Sherry and Roberta all rate Razzy’s 5 COOKIES. I love Razzy’s and shall be spending a lot of time there in the next few months, but I’m afraid I can only rate them four cookies because they don’t have a no- smoking section. IF they could fix that little problem, I would definitly rate them a five. Jennifer
