WINNIPEG (CP) — Winnipeg Warriors say they have turned down a three-player offer from Edmonton Flyers for centre Ray Brunel, playing his second season with the Western Hockey League club.

Warriors said Wednesday Flyer general manager and coach Bud Poile had offered centre Forbes Kennedy, winger Warren Hymes and defenceman Pete Goegan for Brunel, leading scorer with the Warriors this season.

Kennedy recently was sent to the fifth - place Flyers by the parent Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League. Goegan also has seen service with the Wings. Hymes played with the Warriors last year while on Joan ‘from the Flyers but returned te Edmonton for the 1959-60 cam- paign. d
