sir.--I have Just had the immense pleasure of being a gileet at the annual banquet of the patrol lead- ers of the Montreal Boy Scouts As- sociation. It was a banquet indeed! To the 10y of the hunderds of boys present the "eats" were excellent and plenteous; the ginger ale pro- vided gratis by a well-known Mont- treal firm was birbbly and refresh- ing. The speeches were short and to the point. The "high spot" was the speech of Mr. F. WJBeatty, president of the Canadian Pacific Railway Company.
