MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (¢AP)— Luis Rodriguez, unbeaten Cuban welterweight, ruled a 2-1 favorite Tuesday to defeat Garnet (Sugar) Hart—in—their 10-round bout at Miami Beach Auditorium tonight.

The fight will be televised over the ABC network starting at 11 p.m. AST.

The bout is of great importance to both men, in that the winner almost certainly will be rated top challenger to champion Don Jor- dan, who has been ordered to de- fend his crown in January.

Promoter Chris Dundee said he} twice has offered Jordan's man- ager, Don Knesseth, $50,000 to fight the winner of tonight's fight, but had received no reply.
