No tender will he considered unless accom- panied by a deposit equal to five per cent. of the value of the materisl tendered for, which deposit may be either cash or a certified bank cheque. Uncertified cheques will not be accepted. Should a tender be accepted, the deposit will be retained until the satisfactory completion of the contract. Should a tender not be accepted, the deposit will be returned by registered letter, at tenderer’s risk.
