In these days when to have a clear soft skin is considered desirable by men as well as women, I often won- der why more thought is not given to what givesand maintains a nice skin. . "' Where the skin is harsh, gray look- ing, perhaps pasty in appearance, or has blemishes of any kind, the first thought with many individuals is to use some special soap, cream, powder, or salve.

Now there an: conditions where these applications are helpful, as they stimulate the skin in this par- ticuiar part, increase the circulation, and improvement can be noted.

Accordingly C by lessening the amount of meat, potatoes, bread and pastry, and adding milk, fresh cooked vegetables, fresh fruit and lettuce, they have given to the blood the ele- ments necessary to give the skin its rightful appearance, clear, a good color, soft, and pliable.

Now if these foods are doing this for the skin, whit must they be doing for all the internal tissues of the body. If these foods are making the skin ‘young’ in appearance, they will do the same for the lining of the bio vessels, kidneys, liver, and other organs. -
