SHERIFFS’ SALES.

Y virtue of a Precept to me directed, issued by the Hon. John

Aldous, Commissioner of Public Lands. against David Smith of Lot or Township No. II, I have taken and seized, as the pro- perty of the said David Smith, All his right, title and interest, in and to Fifty (50) acres of Land, a little more or less, with the buildings thereon erected, situate on Township number H, in Prince County; and I do hereby give Public Notice that 1 will, on the 5th day of February, 1805, at the Court House at St. lilea- nor’s, at the hour of 1?. o’clock, noon, set up and sell the above recited preperty to satisfy the levy marked on the said Preeept, being Seven pounds six shillings and nine pence, besides b‘heritf‘s fees and incidental expenses.

I have levied the said writ on the above recited Townships, for the several amounts due thereon; and I do hereby give notice that I will set up and sell at public auction, at the Court House in George- town, on Saturday the 2lst day of January, 1885, at 12 o‘clock, noon, the above mentioned lands, or as much thereofas will satisfy the levy marked on the said writ against the same respectively, toge- ther with 163 8d., for the aforesaid writ, besides Sherilf’s fees and all other incidental expenses. its use. It is a sovm'eigu remedy for bad breasts and bad legs; and likewise lor all skin discaSes. It is to be found in the chestof

nearly every sailor, soldier, and c-nigrant. Piles, Fistu/as, Shir/urns.

The above class ol complaints is surely removed by nightly foment- ing the parts wnh warm water, and then by most ellectnally rubbing in this Ointment. Porsons sullering from these dirclul complaints should lose not a moment in arresting their progress. it should be understood that it is not suliicient merely to smear the Ointment on the, affected parts, but it must be well rubbed in lin‘ some consider- able time two or three, times a day. that it may be taken into the system, whence it will remove any hidden sore or wound as elfectu- ally as though it, were palpable to the eye. Bread and water ponltices, alter the rubbing in of the Ointment, will do great service. This is the only proper treatment for females in cases of cancer in the stomach, or for those who sull'er from a general bearing down.
