Mrs. G. Carlyle Webster at Toronto spoke to the meeting and said she had many pleasant memories of the many years she had spent in Zion with her husband a former minister of the congregation.

Constable J. Terrance Hoey. 21; who joined the force Jan. 6. 1958, at Cobourg. Ont, was shot to death late Thursday night when he and two other RCMP officers entered a restaurant here to In— vestigate a complaint.

The officers went to the rest- aurant when employees com- plained that 52-year-old Chinese- Canadian proprietor James Ling had kept the place locked up since Saturday night and refused to let them in.
