It Is significant that in this Centennial Year on Prince Edward Island, Ferguson In- dustries Limited, in a growing bond between the Atlantic Provinces, had the honor of constructing the Prince Nova . . . yet another link in transportation between the "Cradle of Confederation" and Nova Scotia.

Newest addition to the Northumberland Ferries fleet, the Prince Nova is powered by two 1,600 horsepower diesels, with a trial speed of 15 knots. This will greatly speed the transportation between the two provinces. ;
