A Parlour Social was held on Pri- day evening, February 21st at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Muc- Ibod. Kensington, under the auspi- ces oi’ the Ladies Aid oi the United Church. Over a huuiked people were present and a pleasant social evening was spent.

Dr. A. A. Lockhart in his usual genial manner presided. A program arranged by the committee in charge. waswell rendered and much fliloyed. judging by the hearty cn- core each number received. Speech- es by the two clergyman present, Rev. Mr. Fream of the Anglican Church and Rev. B. C. Salter of the United. were delivered in good form to the ediiication and satisfaction oi all. Mr. Garnet Profltt in his own incomparable style gave several 1m. promptu musical numbers. which, needless to say. were much appre- ciated. A bbuntiful lunch was served by the ladies.
